Trauma can take control of your life

Living with trauma can feel like you're stuck on a never-ending rollercoaster.

It takes over your emotions, your relationships, and your choices.

It feels like you're constantly in survival mode, waiting for the next bad thing to happen.

It steals your peace and your rest.

It shrinks your life down to its bare bones.

It may seem like all you can do is suffer your way through your day,

only to wake up and do it all over again.

But here's the good news: Trauma is treatable. Healing is possible. And I can help.

Ways I Can Help

Trauma-Focused Treatment

Take back your life from trauma by getting to the root of the pain. Together, we can choose from a range of science-backed treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure, and Written Exposure Therapy.

Skills for Emotions and Relationships

Trauma can make it difficult to manage your emotions. It can also interfere with your most important relationships. Skills work can help smooth out waves of emotion and help you feel more connected to the people you care about.

Special Populations

Veterans and Service Members

It can be difficult to transition to the civilian world, especially when living with trauma. After spending most of my adult life with the VA and DoD, I have a strong understanding of the military experience and unique culture. We'll work as a team to finally address your trauma related to combat, exposure to violence, military sexual trauma, moral injury, or other traumatic military experiences.

LGBTQ+ Folks

I am dedicated to providing a safe, validating therapeutic environment for LGBTQIA+ folks. I also proudly bring my experience as a member of the community. We can explore the unique intersection of trauma and sexuality/gender and work together to help you navigate the challenges of being yourself in the world.

Men Who Have Experienced
Sexual Abuse and Assault

In my many years of working with men who have been sexually abused and assaulted, I know how painful it can be for men to carry the burden of these experiences. We can work through these traumas together in a safe, nonjudgmental space and help you move forward in life while leaving the guilt and shame behind.
